Public performances in abroad
Since the air cargo charge of heavy drums (over 2 ton) is very expensive, they have to hold their performances at least for half a year in order to cover the charge.
For a short visit they take smaller instruments with them. He has appeared on over 1,500 stages abroad.

Teaching in abroad
WADAIKO is not available in abroad. You have to find the substitute for it.
They say that drums in abroad are quite different from WADAIKO.
The body is ceramic, the leather part is thin and mainly played by hands and fingers.
The best substitutes are used tires, which you can get anywhere in the world!
Their elasticity gives your hands adequate springy feeling. They dont make big sound, so you can practice even in mid-town.
The drumsticks can be sent from Japan, or they can be prepared easily by cutting long poles into the certain length.
The music score of WADAIKO is written in special notes with alphabet, so you can follow the music by singing or humming.

Jishoyas mission
His academic career has lifted the WADAIKO Performance up to the height of real art.
Jishoya, who grew up in a traditional Japanese family, received regular music education, worked with a big Orchestra and now is devoting himself to WADAIKO,
should be a most appropriate person to make a bridge between Japan and the abroad.
